Refund & Cancellation Policy
CardSwapio is committed to fair, transparent trading. This policy explains when payouts can be canceled or returned, how refunds work, and how to contact us about a disputed trade.
1. Nature of our service
CardSwapio buys valid, unused gift cards from you and pays the agreed amount to your selected payout account. Because the Service involves the digital transfer of redeemable value, gift-card submissions are considered final and non-refundable once the card has been successfully verified and the payout has been released, except as described below.
2. Before verification — you can cancel any time
You may cancel a submission at any time before we begin verification by contacting support. No fee applies. Once verification starts (typically within minutes of submission), cancellation is no longer guaranteed because the card balance may have already been moved.
3. Verification failure — no charge to you
If verification fails for any of the following reasons, no payout is issued and no amount is owed to CardSwapio:
- Card has a zero or reduced balance compared to what was declared.
- Card is locked, expired, already redeemed, or disabled by the issuer.
- Card number, PIN, or other required data is invalid or incorrect.
- Card is flagged by the issuer or our partners as potentially fraudulent.
Where a partial balance is verified, we may offer you a revised payout reflecting the verified amount. You may accept the revised offer or decline and cancel.
4. Payout reversal and clawback
We may reverse or claw back a payout already sent if, within a reasonable period after settlement, we learn that:
- The card was obtained fraudulently, stolen, or charged back by the original purchaser.
- The card was submitted to multiple buyers or had already been redeemed elsewhere.
- The card was subsequently invalidated by the issuer for reasons not disclosed at submission.
- You provided false ownership or identity information.
In these cases you agree to return the payout within 5 business days of our request. We reserve the right to offset the disputed amount against any pending or future trades on your account.
5. Delayed payouts
If a payout is delayed beyond the typical window for your selected method (for example, bank holidays, network congestion, or compliance review), we will keep you informed. A delay alone does not entitle you to a refund, but if the payout cannot be released at all within 14 days of a successful verification, you may request a full cancellation and we will not pursue the card value against you.
6. How to request a refund or raise a dispute
Email support@cardswapio.com with your Order ID (shown on the success screen after submission), a description of the issue, and any supporting evidence. We respond within two business days and aim to resolve most disputes within seven.
7. Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, we reserve the right to suspend your account pending investigation.
